by Marcus Ronan

With a number of bases throughout the UK, RW Greeff are a well established supplier of industrial consumables. The products supplied are from some of the most reputable companies in the world such as Univar, 3M and Dow Corning. Made up of over 8,000 items, their product catalogue is very comprehensive and detailed.

As the main UK technical partner of 3M, RW Greeff are now able to offer the RITE-LOK product range of adhesives. The range is suitable for a number of purposes from everyday solutions to advanced process solutions.

1. Anaerobic Adhesives - Very high performance, single component engineering adhesives that cure in the absence of air and in the presence of metal parts. Anaerobic adhesives are available in a wide range of strengths and viscosities. The products are separated into application categories and include threadlocking, gasket making, retaining and pipe sealants.

2. Cyanoacrylate Adhesives - High specification single component adhesives that cure based on traces of moisture found on surfaces. Commonly referred to as superglues, cyanoarcrylates bond on a variety of substrates including metals, plastics, rubbers, wood and ceramics.

The Cyanoacrylate range must meet a number of precise bonding guidelines. These are that they should be high temperature resistant, toughened for rubber, have a low odour level, capable of bonding metals and be low bloom.

3. Ultra Violet light curing - These adhesives are high performance and made up of a single component. Manufactured to cure when in the presence of UV lighting and to cure within seconds. Also they leave no visible bond line and are proven to form a very strong bond. A number of materials can be bonded using this adhesive, materials such as plastic, glass and metals. But there must be at least 1 surface that allows the penetration of ultra violet lighting.

UV curling adhesives come in a number of various viscosities and their curling properties allow them to be used in a number of applications. Standard everyday uses are the bonding of electronic potting, medical profession devices as well as the bonding of glass furniture.

4. Structural Adhesives and High Temperature Sealants - Ideally these adhesives work very well with the current range of structural adhesives from 3M. This is because they are product specific and therefore work best if used this way.

Silver loaded epoxy adhesives are designed to produce bonds which are electronically conductive. This feature allows them to be used in a variety of electrical and electronic purposes. If you are looking to make repairs to piping, tanks and castings, you can use a two-part putty which is ideal for these MRO applications. A two part but no-mix acrylic adhesive is SA30, handling strength is available after just one and a half minutes as well as being useful on most plastics. Due to this feature, it is well used in the signage market.

June 21, 2008

by Pete Roberts

HHO generators or fuel cells can produce HHO gas that help increase mileage. There seems to be no relief in sight from escalating fuel and petrol prices and people are desperately looking for ways to save fuel. What if there was a solution for gasoline, petrol or diesel engines and works on most cars or trucks.

HHO gas is also known as browns gas or simply hydroxy. This makes a nice alternative to supplement your gas as fuel prices rise. This has even been referred to as hydrogen technology but your really getting 2 gases here hydrogen and oxygen. The result is fewer emissions or pollution from the exhaust.

Through the process of electrolysis convert water to gas or better HHO gas. You may have seen an HHO car on the news but the point is you could have a hybrid water car that still runs on petrol, gasoline or diesel. You are supplementing your fuel and this will help you save fuel and increase mileage.

HHO gas should help you see savings of 15 - 40 % or in some cases more including possible increases in horse power and acceleration. Did you ever see this from you favorite gas supplement? You may find Free HHO plans but only the best plans should be used because they often have the detail and pictures you need to properly install the device under the hood of your car or truck.

An HHO generator or car kit is easy to build and should make a nice day or weekend project. A HHO car kit will easily fit under the hood of most cars or trucks and should only take a few hours to install. Once installed it only takes a few minutes of maintenance a month to check the water and catalyst.

You can find free HHO gas plans but they often are missing some details. The best plans will show you how to build a HHO generator from common parts that you may have or can purchase. Installation requires very little engine modification. Why spend several hundred dollars or more for a HHO car kit when you can build one for much less.

Use Water To Fuel Our Cars

June 21, 2008

by Miles Moore

When gasoline gets to $10 gallon we are all going to have to change if we want to survive. Perhaps it is time we looked at using water to power our cars.

Oil supplies are being used up even while demand is growing around the world. We are rapidly approaching a time when the oil that can be pumped out of the ground is less than the world’s demand for oil. When that day arrives you might think that $10 for a gallon of gasoline would be cheap.

We should be looking for alternative fuel and energy supplies now. The whole world should treat this like a battle where we all pull together and do whatever we have to do to achieve success. We must all start trying to use less oil and gas in any way we can.

It has long been known that water is made up of hydrogen and water and we also know that hydrogen is a powerful fuel. There is a way to get the hydrogen out of the water but in the past it was always thought uneconomical.

These days, engineers have developed simple systems that you can build yourself and fit to your car which can give you hydrogen gas to use as fuel for your engine and save you gas.

All you have to do is buy a few parts which are easily available at hardware stores and you can assemble the kit in your garage and fit it to your car. It is said to only take a few hours to complete this.

The idea of using water to power our cars has always been a dream and even with these systems you do still need to buy and use gas but adding hydrogen should reduce the amount of gas you have to buy and use.

Some of the claims made about these kits are remarkable. There are reports that people have halved their gas consumption but most are more down to earth and reckon on saving 20% or so which is a pretty good saving on the cost of buying gas.

The Benefits of Turning Your Vehicle Into A Water Powered Car

June 21, 2008

by Joseph Then

By the time you finish reading this, you only need videos or visual aids to help you turn your car into a water powered fuel car. Sounds difficult; I know but you have to trust me. It is actually easier than you think it is. Like I said, all you need are some videos and maybe visual aids to help you in the transformation.

By now you’ve obviously been spending anywhere from $35-$125 every time at the pump depending on how many gallons of gas your vehicle holds. We’re here to tell you there is no reason to do this anymore since the new alternative can double your gas mileage. Yes, you read that correctly and we’ll explain more about it below.

How does water double my Gas mileage?

So how does water powered car work? Since I said it is simple, I shall explain to you how it works. In water, there is something called HHO. The HHO is then sent through the vehicle’s carburetor to allow it to run longer. According to reports, the increase on mileage is can be as low as 50% to a maximum of 285%. This is considered very fantastic.

So, don’t you think that a water-fueled car is great? It doesn’t burn a hole in your pocket. It runs just as fine with something three times better than fuel and at a lower cost! Wouldn’t be money saving and ‘fuel’ efficient? Well maybe it is not enough to convince you. Read more.

Other Positive Results When You Run A Car On Water

Even though your goal here is just to save fuel, having an engine powered with water brings along other beneficial avenues. The most notable one has to be the way the engine runs. Utilizing water offers your engine not only a way to get better gas mileage, but also clean itself. See, over time carbon deposits will build up within the car’s engine, but an alternative fuel car steam cleans those out.

The fuel car steam will clean the car’s engine and thus gives you a cleaner engine. So, what about clean engine? Having a cleaner engine means having a smoother running engines and no more break downs in the middle of the road. Not only a water powered car can save fuel, it cuts maintenance cost too!

The Conclusion

Well, there are a lot of other benefits of having a water powered car. There are also benefits like its fast acceleration and more benefits about engines running with water. There is just so much to say but I’ll just keep it till here for now. So, when you think that you want to cut down the cost of owning a car, you can consider turning your vehicle into water powered one. This way, we all can gain more. Good luck!

June 20, 2008

by A R Thompson

If you are looking to buy a used motorcycle it is vital that you take a number of different factors into consideration before handing over any money. In fact compared to a new motorcycle there are a large number of variables a would be purchaser needs to take into account in order to help determine the price of a used one. Below is a list of what these variables are.

1. The Make, Model & Year Made - Nearly all motorcycles as they get older will generally lose value (although not in the same ways as cars). But there are a few exceptions to this rule. 4. The Mileage - Compared to cars and trucks high mileage on a motorcycle is not such a major issue because these engines are generally built to last. However, it is still important that you check with the owner regarding maintenance of the machine. If you re able to get them to provide you with details of the vehicles service history.

5. Physical Condition - When buying any used motorcycles you are need to remember that they are going to have a few knocks and scratches on them. Although usually you can see very quickly how well the motorcycle has been cared for, but if you are unsure of what you are looking arrange to take some with you who does. Buying Used Cars & Trucks at Government Auctions

June 20, 2008

by Mark Allen

Is it possible to buy cheap used cars and trucks at Government Auctions? Yes you can, and it isn’t terribly difficult. In fact, you can find decent used vehicles for just a few hundred dollars. In fact, thousands of vehicles are sold this way every day.

In order to get the best deals at a government auction, there are some things you need to know about. In this article we’ll talk about the strengths and pitfalls of government auctions. You’ll learn some long-term strategies with which will show you how to purchase cars and trucks, and find the best deals from Government auctions.

In government car auctions, good things come to those who wait. This means waiting for the right kind of car. Also, waiting for the right bidding atmosphere. If you want a car too much, and you’re caught up in bidding wars, you will pay more than you should. Finally, you must be patient and do the research on the car you want to purchase. You must be able to eye test each car to determine if it runs well or if it’s in bad condition.

The point is this: if your looking for a great deal on a car and you need one right away, you probably aren’t going to find it through Government auctions. This doesn’t mean you can’t get a great deal at Government auctions for your vehicle. I will now give you advice on how to locate and find great deals.

There are loads of high-quality vehicles with low mileage available at Government auctions, and they are always priced well under market value. Also, these are “fleet” vehicles used by various government agencies, and you won’t find these in any dealership or used car lot.

Government agencies generally take great care in maintaining the condition of their vehicles. Every few years, they sell these vehicles and replace them with newer vehicles, therefore giving you a great deal. These “fleet sales” are liquidated through the various Government auctions.

In addition to buying a vehicle for personal use, you can find a great deal on a car, purchase it and then resell it yourself for a profit. You can do this over and over. This is another benefit of buying through Government car auctions.

In conclusion, the people who are most profitable by using government car auctions are those who are patient. They patiently wait to find the best deals on good cars, and they often have another strategy besides just the initial purchase. Government auctions are where you can get the greatest deals if you know how to do it. Follow the principles given in this article, and you’ll be well on your way.
